Conversely, funders look to GuideStar to verify and research nonprofits that are aligned with their priorities.

Candid provides free access to demographic data through Demographics via Candid. Over 100 partners, including United Philanthropy Forum, can access data through Candid nonprofit profiles on GuideStar; via the free Demographics API; through grants management systems that participate; on a public Tableau demographic dashboard; or with a single, downloadable spreadsheet.
